Jennifer Bien

Prior to her affiliation with Heenan Communications, Jennifer Bien was senior public information officer for the UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento. As chief media strategist and spokesperson for the high-profile trauma center, Bien managed all proactive and reactive news communications. Her work with the medical center continues on a consulting basis, and Bien is instrumental to the center’s public outreach efforts.

Previous experience also includes working as media manager and spokesperson for telecommunications giant SBC's Northern California territory. Bien served as a key member of the team that charted communications strategy for SBC, now AT&T.

Other client work included helping to launch Sony’s Playstation 2 home entertainment system as well as work for Universal Studios Hollywood and Yahoo!.

Bien is a graduate of California State University, Sacramento.
